Erasmus Kloman's
career as an artist began with his retirement from a Washington think-tank
in 1985. He studied at the major art schools in the Washington area including the Corcoran and the Art League in Alexandria. In 2001, he and his wife Suzanne moved across the Chesapeake to historic Chestertown where he opened the Kloman Gallery and Studio on Cannon Street. Chestertown is
a leading center of the arts on the Eastern Shore and home of Washington College founded in 1782. Kloman serves as Chair of Friends of the Arts of the college. For information on his gallery, his books including three travel guides on France, and free brochures of his paintings of Washington College contact the author at 410 810 1799 or at writepaint@verizon.net.
